Galway Hurling Committee Chairman Claude Geoghegan is our special guest.
Claude chats to Niall & Sean on a number of issues including:
· No home venues for the Galway Minors or U20s in Leinster this year but perhaps changes afoot for 2027?
· Galway U20s championship now underway with Minors soon to follow
· Managing the workload of the players (i.e. Aaron Niland, Jason Rabbitte etc) who are with the Senior & U20 teams & who are crucial to both over next few busy weeks will be vital
· Galway Seniors in Championship action v Kilkenny on April 18 & Claude makes call for Galway fans to Support the team
· New Dissent Rules are now in operation – will their application attract new Referees?
· Galway Club Leagues up and running since last weekend with more games for clubs, while the Club Championships are on the horizon with new Premier Intermediate, Junior & Reeves Cup competitions
· No major changes at local level in new proposed Streaming changes (of Club games)
