Galway boxers in National Elite Championships Final action tomorrow

There will be two Galway boxers in action in the National Elite finals tomorrow night. Former Galway footballer Antoine ‘Toto’ Griffin from Leitir Mór and Celtic Eagles, will contest the Super Heavyweight final against Ken Okungbowa from Athlone. While another Connemara and Celtic Eagles fighter Thomas O’Toole, will meet Emmet Brennan from Dublin Docklands in the Light Heavyweight decider.

Antoine Griffin won his Semi Final by unanimous decision last night, while Thomas O'Toole already qualified for the finals after a unanimous points win on Monday night.

Unfortunately Olympic Galways' Patrick Corcoran came up short in his 91kg Semi Final last night, where he was defeated by Kiril Afanasev from Smithfield.
