Galway LGFA are on the lookout for a manager for the Under 20 Ladies Football team ahead of the start of the new competition in April. The Inter-County U20 championship is a pilot programme which will see Galway compete at Connacht and National level. The first round is on 18th April and concludes with the All-Ireland Final on 11th July. Completed applications for the position of U20 Ladies Football Manager need to be returned by Monday, Jan 26th.
Candidates must:
- Be a member of the LGFA & have a good working knowledge of how Ladies Football procedures & policies operate
- Hold current Garda Vetting & Safeguarding certificates
- Demonstrate at least 3 years of a successful track record in Club and or Inter-County Management.
- Have an ability to demonstrate/organise a high standard of Coaching (at least a Level 1 Coaching Certificate is preferred).
- Have an understanding of and work within the Guidelines of the LGFA
- Work in cooperation with the Senior Intercounty Manager
- Create a positive & safe environment to allow all players & management to develop to the best of their ability.

- It is also within the remit of Galway LGFA to identify suitable candidates for these roles.
