Galway Unchanged for All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship with Tyrone

Galway have named an unchanged team for  Saturday’s second game in Group 4 of the All-Ireland senior championship against Tyrone (13th June 2026), where victory will secure a home quarter-final next month.

It’s the first meeting between the two counties since the 2013 quarter-final when goals from Geraldine Conneally and Lorna Joyce gave Galway a 2-20 to 2-5 victory.

The Tribeswomen began their campaign last week with a 2-21 to 1-9 win over Meath with Eva Noone and Roisin Leonard getting the green flags.

The Red Hands, 2025 All-Ireland intermediate champions, haven’t played since losing out to Armagh in the Ulster final and they face stiff opposition again here.
