Galway United are top of the SSE Airtricity League Women's Premier Division after two rounds before hosting Wexford this Saturday (28th March 2026).
Even though the Tribeswomen are four points clear of their opponents, they haven't beaten the Slaneysiders in regulation time in their last six meetings and were dethroned as All-Island Cup champions by eventual winners Wexford in 2025.
Midfielder Niamh Farrelly, who has represented the Republic of Ireland at all levels as well as winning league titles in Ireland and Scotland, joined Galway United last year and has been a regular in the starting team. She joined up with Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly on 'Over the Line' to look ahead to their next challenge.
Kick-off at Eamonn Deacy Park on Saturday is 5pm.
