It's a unique pairing in championship football in this year's TG4 All-Ireland senior ladies football semi-final as Galway and Armagh come together this Saturday (18th July 2026) with a place in Croke Park two weeks later the prize on offer.
At the All-Ireland Quarter Final Stage, Galway beat Mayo 2-20 to 1-6 while Armagh were 3-9 to 1-12 victors against Kildare.
Kate Slevin has been a standout performer for Galway throughout the year and she spoke to John Mulligan.
