Galway are just 60 minutes away from making history when they clash with Cork next Saturday (11th April) in the Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1 Final.
The Tribeswomen have never won this competition having contested seven finals, the most recent being a heavy defeat to Kerry back in 2023.
Four of those final defeats have come at the hands of Cork (2005, 2010, 2015 and 2019) who are chasing their 13th crown since their breakthrough success 21 years ago. But in a repeat of the 2025 Division 2 decider, Galway were victorious over the Rebelettes 12 months ago even if they suffered a reversal in their group clash back in February.
Galway Bay FM's Tommy Devane headed to the recent media event at the Lough Rea Hotel & Spa in conjunction with Supermacs to look ahead to the game. And first he chatted to Galway senior captain Kate Geraghty.
