Despite a 20-7 loss to Buccaneers, one of only two defeats all season, Galwegians concluded their Energia All-Ireland Division 2B league campaign in Crowley Park on Saturday (4th April 2026) with a total of 78 points from 18 games.
Promotion had long being secured for the Galway team and despite trailing 13-0 at half-time, a Darraagh Kennedy try along with Stephen Mannion's conversion kept this contest alive before the visitors finished with their second try.
Afterwards, Galway Bay FM's William Davies caught up with Jarrad Butler and first, Stephen Mannion after the trophy was presented to Captain Dylan Keane.
Galwegians head coach Brendan Guilfoyle was next to share his thoughts with William.
Finally, Galwegians PRO Carl Blake caught up with William.
