Irish 6 Nations squad named for games against France and Wales

Sean Cronin has been dropped from the Ireland rugby squad for the upcoming Six Nations matches against France and Wales. Ulster hooker Rob Herring instead comes into the group alongside Niall Scannell and captain Rory Best. Leinster's Ross Byrne has been recalled with Jack Carty, Joey Carbery and Johnny Sexton the other out-halves. Garry Ringrose, Tadhg Beirne, CJ Stander and Jordan Larmour are fit after missing the win over Italy. Connacht scrum-half Kieran Marmion also returns but Robbie Henshaw remains out with a leg injury.
