After successfully retaining their county title, and bringing their competitive unbeaten run to 50 games after coming through Mayo's Westport in the provincial semi-final, Kilkerrin-Clonberne chase an eighth consecutive AIB Connacht senior ladies football title on Sunday (9th November 2025) against Roscommon's St. Brigid's.
When Kilkerrin-Clonberne won their first-ever title in 2014, they beat St. Brigid's in the semi-final. And should they prevail again, they'll become just the second club (after Mayo's Carnacon) to win a 10th championship.
Leading up to the game, Galway Bay FM's John Mulligan called out to the Kilkerrin-Clonberne camp and first caught up with captain Louise Ward.
John then got the thoughts of Kilkerrin-Clonberne chairperson Freddie Gannon.
Finally, John chatted to Kilkerrin-Clonberne manager Willie Ward.
Throw-in at Castlerea on Sunday is 1pm and we'll have LIVE coverage here on Galway Bay FM.
