Galway's senior hurlers produced a thrilling fightback at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Saturday (21st March 2026) in the National Hurling League, but couldn't stop Limerick setting up a final clash with Cork.

The Tribesmen trailed by 11 points early in the second half but reduced that deficit to two before the finish.  However, they paid the price for goals conceded to Cathal O'Neill and Aaron Gillane.  Aaron Niland was Galway's top scorer with 0-10 while Cathal Mannion, Jason Rabbitte and Darragh Neary shared 0-11 from play.

Afterwards, Galway senior manager Micheál Donoghue gave his views to Galway Bay FM's Niall Canavan.
