Loughrea are through to the AIB All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final following a dominant display against Derry's Slaughtneil in Parnell Park (21st December 2025).
Anthony Burns and Vince Morgan struck goals in both halves as the Galway champions pulled clear, but unfortunately, man of the match Cullen Killeen picked up a late red card, which puts his final appearance in four weeks in jeopardy.

Loughrea will now play Ballygunner in the AIB All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final in Croke Park on the weekend of January 17th/18th. The Waterford side ran out 0-19 to 0-10 winners over Wexford's St. Martin's in Semple Stadium.
