Ballinrobe Racecourse is delighted to announce renowned fashion stylist Marietta Doran as the official judge for The Lodge at Ashford Castle Ladies Day, taking place on Monday, 22nd June at Ballinrobe Racecourse.
Now celebrating its fifth year of sponsorship by The Lodge at Ashford Castle, this popular raceday continues to grow as one of the most anticipated style and social events in the west of Ireland, combining great racing, a fantastic social occasion, and exceptional fashion.
Marietta Doran, one of Ireland’s most recognisable and respected fashion stylists, makes a welcome return to Ballinrobe, having last judged Ladies Day at the racecourse in 2018.
Speaking on her appointment, Marietta Doran said:

The coveted Ladies Day title will once again offer a truly luxurious reward, with the best-dressed lady winning a two-night stay at The Lodge at Ashford Castle, including breakfast and dinner on one evening at Wildes Restaurant, along with a €1,000 cash prize. Four runners-up will also receive dinner for two in Wildes Restaurant.

The first race gets underway at 5:25pm, kicking off an exciting flat card featuring the GAIN The Advantage Series Handicap, setting the tone for an evening of top-class racing and style, with music by Streetwise in the Mask Pavilion after racing to keep the evening going.
