Michelle Carpenter, CEO of Rowing Ireland commented on the weekend:
“Seeing the National Rowing Centre full of smiles this weekend meant so much. Our athletes, clubs, coaches, volunteers, and supporters all play a role in making moments like this possible. This event marked the end of a season of success, and it was a true celebration of everyone involved in rowing in Ireland. I’m incredibly proud of the Rowing Ireland staff, the Championships Committee, our dedicated and committed Rowing Ireland board, and every volunteer who brought it all to life. We were honoured to welcome Taoiseach Micheál Martin to the Finish Line Lunch, where he presented commemorative pieces to the 1975 Women’s crew in recognition of their lasting impact on Irish rowing. A heartfelt thank you as well to our sponsors and event partners, whose support helps make these moments happen.”
Speaking over the weekend, Donal Cronin, Chair of the Irish Rowing Championship Committee, said:
"We’re incredibly proud of how this year’s Irish Rowing Championships came together. From the record number of entries to the seamless execution across all three days, it was a true celebration of our sport. I want to thank the clubs, athletes, coaches, volunteers, and officials who made it all possible – their dedication and passion are what continue to elevate this event year after year.”
