The first weekend of cup basketball is upon us with action all across the country, but only two Galway teams involved. University of Galway Mystics have a first round bye and Maree's successful appeal of their cup expulsion meaning their match against Tralee Warriors will be played next week. Meanwhile both Maigh Cuilinn and Titans have home games against Portlaoise Panthers and Scott's Lakers Killarney respectively.
