Salthill Devon were crowned Connacht Junior Men's Cup Champions after a 3-2 victory over league champions Colga at Eamonn Deacy Park on Sunday afternoon.
The game bursted into life right from the off, Timmy Molloy opening the scoring for the Salthill side after only six minutes, but immediately after Callum Browne struck the equaliser for Colga.
Molloy scored again to leave Salthill ahead at the break, but 17 minutes after the interval Neil Greaney levelled the contest once again with a stunner from outside the area. But it was Salthill Devon who kept up the pressure, and it told on 75 minutes when Enda Curran headed in the winner.
