Seventeen Galway Swimmers Confirmed For Irish Open Championships

Seventeen swimmers from Galway Clubs have been confirmed for the Irish Open Swimming Championships that will be held at the Bangor Aurora Aquatics & Leisure Centre from the 8th to the 12th of April.

This event is the showpiece meet on the Irish swimming calendar and features swimmers of all ages from around the country.

European and World Champion John Shortt has been confirmed for the championship and will be representing his home club of Bluefin.

Other clubs from Galway taking part are Galway, Shark, Tuam and the University of Galway.
