It's eighth against ninth in the SSE Airtricity League Men's Premier Division this Saturday (16th May 2026) as Galway United try avoid dropping into the relegation places when they travel to Sligo Rovers in the Connacht Derby.
The Tribesmen are five games without a victory against the hosts who are also aiming to end a three-match winless streak. The teams shared 2-1 victories in thier two outings in Sligo in 2025 while United were 1-0 winners in Eamonn Deacy Park in February and are one point ahead of the Bit O'Red.
