A strong Galway contingent has been confirmed for the Irish Senior Women's Amateur Open Championship and Irish Senior Men's Amateur Close Championship that both get underway tomorrow in Dun Laoghaire.
In the Irish Senior Women’s Amateur Open, Regina Power of Ballinasloe will be the first to tee off at 9.30am and she will be followed by another Ballinasloe golfer in Catherine Owens at 10. Finally, Suzanne Corcoran of Portumna will tee off at 10.10.
In the Irish Senior Men’s Amateur Close Championship, Alan Moran tees off at 10.30 and will be the first out followed by Eddie McCormack of Galway Bay at 2.15, Joe Lyons of Galway at 2.25 and two Athenry golfers follow Joe. David Kineen at 2.45 and Ronan O’Reilly at 2.55.
