Three Galway Ladies Football Teams Named for Sunday's All-Ireland Semi-Final Triple Header

Kilkerrin-Clonberne have named an unchanged team for Sunday’s All-Ireland senior semi-final against Waterford’s Comeragh Rangers.  Throw-in at Clonberne is 2pm (30th November 2025).

All three Galway teams have been named for a busy day.  Caltra Cuans face St. Fechin’s in Drogheda in intermediate at 1.15; while Menlough-Skehana are away to Kilkenny’s Muckalee from 2pm.

AIB All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Semi-Final

Kilkerrin-Clonberne are the reigning AIB All-Ireland Senior Club champions and they’ve shown no signs of dropping their standards as they chase five-in-a-row.

On Sunday, the title holders put their crown on the line against visitors Comeragh Rangers, fresh from their very first Munster senior title win.

Kilkerrin-Clonberne have current TG4 All-Stars in their ranks, in the form of Galway pair Nicola Ward and Olivia Divilly.

Kilkerrin-Clonberne, in contrast, are chasing a sixth successive final appearance.

Lisa Murphy in goal;

A full back line of Lisa Finnegan, Sarah Gormally and Katelyn Mee;

Hannah Noone, Nicola Ward and Niamh Divilly are the half-backs;

Olivia Divilly, captain Louise Ward and Lynsey Noone are on the '40;

And an inside line of Eva Noone, Chloe Miskell and Chloe Costello.

AIB All-Ireland Intermediate Ladies Football Semi-Final

Annaghdown flew the flag for Galway in the Intermediate final at Croke Park last year and now Caltra Cuans are aiming to follow in their footsteps.

Caltra Cuans were All-Ireland Junior club winners in 2010 and are now aiming for the Intermediate silverware 15 years on.

And they come into this one in good form, having won the Connacht final against St Barry’s from Roscommon by 3-9 to 0-9.

Theresa Loughnane in goal;

A full back line of Caoimhe McCabe, Nicole Conway and Helen Cullinane;

Aisling Murray, Sarah Noone, Caoimhe Ní Cheallaigh are the half backs;

Captain Denise Kelly partners Aoibheann Fitzpatrick in midfield;

Rosa Bleahene, Saoirse Murray and Caragh Mullins are on the '40;

And an inside line of Ciara Murray, Emma Reaney and Laura Naughton.

Throw-in at Integral GAA Grounds, Drogheda on Sunday is 1.15pm.

AIB All-Ireland Junior Ladies Football Semi-Final

Two Galway teams have previously contested an All-Ireland Junior club final.

Salthill-Knocknacarra (2022) and Caltra Cuans (2010) were both successful and now Menlough Skehana are hoping to emulate those feats.

A 2-10 to 1-10 victory over Roscommon’s Northern Harps sealed Connacht glory for Menlough Skehana and now they face a trip to Kilkenny to face a Muckalee side enjoying a dream season.

A full back line of Sinéad McManus, Sarah Flattery and Clodagh Jordan;

Aoife Reilly, Jacqueline Glynn and Aoife Jordan are the half backs;

Captain Rachel Dowd, Emma Barrett and Aoife Scarry are on the '40;

And an inside line of Louise Kelly, Tessa Mullins and Chloe Flynn.

Throw-in at Muckalee on Sunday is 2pm.
