The draw for the last 32 of the FAI Junior Cup has been made with tough draws for the Galway teams left in the competition.
Salthill Devon will be away to Clane United or Clanmullen if they beat Tallaght Town this weekend. Colga will also be away to either Carrick or North end United. Athenry however will be at home to Fairview Rangers
The south-east derby was one of a number of huge ties to be drawn earlier today at FAI HQ by FAI Development Officer Christy McElligott, who won the competition in the 2000-01 season with Ballymun United. Mayo's Castlebar Celtic face a long trip to Hibernian FC in Waterford whilst Clare's Avenue United will head to Cork to face St. Mary's AFC. With 43 teams still left in the competition, a number of third and fourth-round ties are set to be played across the next two weekends before Christmas, whilst the fifth round is scheduled for the week ending January 22, 2023. 2022/23 FAI Junior Cup - Fifth Round DrawBuncrana Hearts v MP FC or Valley Park UnitedRaheny United FC or Clara Town FC v Newmarket Celtic FCHibernian FC Waterford v Castlebar CelticRush Athletic/Wayside Celtic or Sandyhillshangan v Douglas Hall B or Trim Celtic AFCAthenry FC v Fairview Rangers FCStrand Celtic FC v Regional UtdCrosshaven AFC v Tallaght United or Tolka RoversBallynanty Rovers AFC v Castlefin CelticCrumlin United v Bridge UnitedClane United or Clonmullion FC v Tallaght Town AFC or Salthill Devon FCSt Mary's AFC v Avenue UnitedPeake Villa FC v Killarney CelticTramore AFC Premier v Gorey Rangers AFCCarrick Rovers or North End United v Colga FCHowth Celtic v St Michael's AFC or Portlaw United FCEvergreen FC v Old County FC or Collinstown FCAll fifth round ties are set to be played the week ending January 22, 2023.
