The short list of 45 nominees for the Gaelic Football All Stars have been announced, with All Ireland champions Tyrone topping the list with 15 players, while beaten finalists Mayo have 8. Shane Walsh is the only nominee from Galway, but Matthew Tierney is one of three nominees for Young Footballer of the Year, alongside Oisin Mullen from Mayo and Darragh Canavan from Tyrone.
