Waterford vs Galway (Ladies National Football League Preview with Niamh Divilly)

After qualifying for the 2026 Lidl Ladies National Football League Final eight days previously, Galway conclude their Division 1 schedule this Sunday (29th March) when they travel to Waterford in Round 7.

It's a repeat of last year's All-Ireland quarter-final in which Galway prevailed.  But the Deise did relegate the Tribeswomen in 2024, and had they won their last fixture against Kildare, they would have been playing a final spot this weekend.

Kilkerrin-Clonberne's Niamh Divilly has had a busy few weeks after helping TU Dublin beat DCU to win a first-ever O'Connor Cup crown recently and was named on the Third Level Team of the Year this week.

Niamh joined Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly to look back on that success and ahead to Galway's upcoming trip to Waterford.
