Galway Bay fm newsroom - Over three thousand homes are without power in the East Galway area this morning due to an outage in Glenamaddy.
Crews are onsite to carry out repair works on a high voltage line in Glenamaddy.
The fault impacts electricity consumers in the Glenamaddy, Dunmore and Mountbellew areas.
An outage in the Ballygar area has now been resolved.
It's hoped supply will be restored to the East Galway area as soon as possible.
