Research by the University of Galway has highlighted a need for better digital mental health supports for young people.
The college, alongside Ulster University, has launched a policy brief on strenthening supports to better meet the needs of young people.
It found young people are most likely to use digital tools which are recommended by trusted sources, are culturally relevant and are easy to navigate.
However, it found there are gaps in digital mental health literacy, due to a lack of governance with the wider digital lanscape.
