34k Galway homes now connected under National Broadband Plan

Almost 34 thousand Galway homes can now connect to high speed broadband under the National Broadband Plan.

It brings fibre broadband to remote and rural parts of Ireland that are not viable for commercial operators.

To date, more than 12 thousands connections in Galway have been made out of more than 33,827 properties now covered.

The overall intervention area in Galway includes 41 thousand premises.
