A pedestrian has been brought to University Hospital Galway for treatment of serious injuries following a road traffic accident in Glenamaddy.
A man in his 60's was stuck by a car on Creggs Road shortly before 2am this morning.
The road is currently closed pending technical examination and local diversions are in place.
