Public consultation on Carraroe sewage scheme to close next week

The public are being reminded that the public consultation on the An Cheathrú Rua Sewage Scheme will close next week. (30/6)

Uisce Eireann is inviting feedback on the site selection process for a new wastewater treatment plant.

At present, Carraroe is one of the few remaining parts of Ireland where untreated wastewater is being discharged directly into the sea.

The public consultation closes on Tuesday June 30th - more information can be found at Water.ie.
