A local Fianna Fail senator says rebuilding confidence in the Fianna Fail party will be "challenging" with Michéal Martin as leader.
Anne Rabbitte has been speaking to Galway Talks about the dissent in the party's ranks since last week's fuel protest crisis.
Galway East TD Albert Dolan has publicly expressed dissatisfaction, while Loughrea Councillor Michael Regan says he'll leave the party if Michael Martin remains.
When pressed if she had confidence in Micheal Martin as leader, Senator Rabbitte said she had "partial confidence".
But she told John Morley rebuilding confidence with the public will be very difficult.
