Aontú is the latest party to announce its chosen candidate for the Galway West by-election.
Originally from Fermanagh, Orla Nugent lives in Terryland and is a primary school teacher in Galway city.
She has cited housing, healthcare and traffic as some of her top priorities.
It brings to seven the number of candidates now confirmed for the by-election - which is due to be held in April or May.

The other candidates are Independent Ireland Cllr Noel Thomas, Independent Cllr Tom Welby, Niall Murphy of the Green Party, Independent Sheila Garrity from Knocknacarra, Labour City Cllr Helen Ogbu, and for Social Democrats, Connemara's Míde Nic Fhionnlaoich.
