Applications are to open later this month for 29 new affordable homes for Headford Road in Galway City.
The development, called Radharc na Tornóige, is a mix of one and two bed apartments as well as two and three bed duplexes.
The council says that the homes will be set at an 'affordable price', with minimum purchase prices ranging from 235 thousand to 350 thousand euros.
Applications for the homes will open at noon on Monday the 20th of April until the 11th of May through the online portal at GalwayCity.ie/Tornoige.
