A conference is taking place on Inis Mór next month to celebrate the life and work of artist Elizabeth Rivers.
Born in England in 1903, she spent 30 years of her life in Ireland, and lived in the Man of Aran Cottage on Inis Mór from 1936 until 1943.
Next month's conference will explore Elizabeth River's time on the island and her deep connections with the local community.
