The Western Development Commission and Atlantic Technological University have launched a new research partnership on remote working.
It's a national project called 'Connected Futures' that'll examine how remote and hybrid work is reshaping our economy.
In a post-Covid economy where such work options are now established features, it's aiming to provide Government with fresh evidence on the impact on the economy, communities, and quality of life.
Among the key focus points are local spending, sustainable mobility, wellbeing, digital infrastructure, commuting behavior and long-term future of regional communities.
