ATU students launching community-based marine literacy installation

A community based marine literacy installation will be launched at the Black Box this Friday (1/5).

It's been created by Early Childhood ATU students and staff, alongside the Arts Council Artist in Residence JD Whitman

The Ocean Voices project aims to raise awareness of plastic pollution through an arts installation.

The large-scale immersive installation was created entirely from recycled plastics, through sculptural forms, sound, and light.

The launch is taking place this Friday May 1st at 6PM at the Black Box on Dyke Road.

Please note: Entry to the interior space involves crawling through a short plastic tunnel and may not be accessible for all visitors.
