A body has been recovered off the coast of Galway.
A distress call was made from a boat just before 3 o'clock this morning.
The vessel, which had three people on board, was located just off the coast of Mace Head at the time.
Two of the other men managed to make their way ashore, while the Irish Coast Guard launched a search for the third.
The third person was recovered shortly before 8 o'clock this morning.
The response involved rescue helicopters 115 from Shannon and 117 from Waterford, along with the Costello Bay and Cleggan Coast Guard Units and the Aran Island and Clifden RNLI lifeboats.
