A Book of Condolences in memory of Billy Lawless will be opened in City Hall this morning.

The Bushypark-native, former Senator, and successful Irish-American businessman died in Chicago at the age of 73.

Mayor of the City of Galway, Councillor Peter Keane will open the physical book at 10AM, and it will also be available online.

Meanwhile, today's City Council meeting will be dedicated to paying tribute to Billy Lawless, with all other agenda items adjourned to another date.
