Bus Eireann has announced it's ending the Ballina-Galway Route 52 Expressway from May.
It's one of three services being axed - the others are the Waterford to Dublin Route 4, and Rosslare/Wexford to Waterford Route 40.
Bus Eireann says these expressway services receive no state subvention, and are incurring significant losses.
There will be no impact on jobs, and all three services will cease operations on Sunday, May 24th.
