Action is needed to "curb speeding motorists" in Shantalla.
That's according to Galway West Fianna Fail TD John Connolly, who says locals are extremely concerned.
He says an active travel scheme should be prioritised - to promote cycling and walking, while slowing down traffic.
But Deputy Connolly says it's not on Galway City Council's priority list.
