There's a call for traffic wardens to be given more leeway to catch problem parkers causing chaos in the city early in the morning.
At City Hall this week, Councillor Shane Forde asked if it were possible they be offered more overtime.
He said there's dreadful illegal parking going on in areas like Doughiska where delivery trucks are blocking entire roads.
City officials said they'd look at the situation, but some of its 12 wardens are already doing overtime and any more could be a budget concern.

Fine Gael Councillor Forde says whatever the solution, the problem has to be tackled.
