Call for fast-track of CCTV plan after 'worrying pattern' of vandalism in city

There is a call for a CCTV plan to be fast-tracked for Galway city following a 'worrying pattern' of vandalism at sports clubs and facilities.

Councillor Mike Cubbard is raising the issue after recent vandalism at Galway Hibernians facilities in Bohermore.

He says other areas such as South Park, Westside, Miller's Lane, Renmore and the tennis court in Crestwood have also been impacted recently

Independent Councillor Cubbard says we need to get around GDPR barriers so that something can be done.
