Construction could begin on new playground in Renmore next year

A long-awaited new playground for the Renmore area could begin construction next year.

The proposed amenity has been talked about for years, and was the subject of discussion at a meeting at City Hall this week.

It's set to be located on a site opposite the Kingfisher Gym - and Councillor Shane Forde says steady progress is now being made.

Fine Gael Councillor Forde says it's long overdue and the demand is huge.
