Call for new pedestrian bridge at Palace Grounds in Tuam

There's a call for a new pedestrian bridge over the River Nanny at the entrance to the Palace Grounds in Tuam.

The matter was raised at a meeting of local councillors this week by Councillor Donagh Killilea.(LAY)

He said larger vehicles have great difficulty at times navigating in and out of the grounds due to the narrowness of the current bridge.

Fianna Fail Councillor Killilea thinks a new pedestrian bridge is the solution.
