Call for urgency on N65 repair between Portumna and Killimor

There's a demand for some sense of urgency on repair works on the N65 between Portumna and Killimor.

Galway East TD Louis O' Hara says a temporary stop-go system installed near Heathlawn following an accident has been there for more than a year.

He argues more than €30 thousand has been spent on renting the lights since then.

Sinn Fein Deputy O' Hara says it's very frustrating and it doesn't seem like works will begin anytime soon.
