There's a call on the Government to urgently reinstate the 'Galway Warm Home Hub' in Westside.
The hub - which recently closed - supported people in making their homes more sustainable and energy efficient.
The matter was raised at a recent meeting of an Oireachtas Committee, during a discussion on energy poverty.
Galway West TD John Connolly said he "lamented" the loss of the hub, and wondered if it could be replaced.

And Director of Services at Galway City Council, Derek Pender said they'd put it back in a heartbeat if they could - but there's no more Government funding.
