City Council advices against overnight parking in coastal areas as high tides expected

Galway City Council is advising against parking overnight in coastal areas as high tides are expected.

The local authority says we are entering a period of spring tides over the next few days, which may result in wave overtopping

People are urged not park overnight in coastal areas that are normally subjected to flooding.

The City Council says this includes parking overnight in Toft Carpark and along Salthill Promenade.
