A high-level meeting has taken place on curbing rat-runs through Renmore.
It was organised by Galway West Super Junior Minister Noel Grealish, and brought together a number of stakeholders.
They include Galway City Council, the Renmore Area Traffic Committee, Minister Grealish, and local councillors.
Heavy traffic flow through Renmore at busy times is a major concern for residents, with a recent count showing 4 thousand vehicles driving through daily.
Fianna Fail Councillor Alan Cheevers says it was a productive meeting and outlines what happens now.
