A new exhibition has been opened in the city - showcasing 'Old Galway' in years gone by.
Curated by local historian Tom Kenny, 'Old Galway - A Bird's Eye View' features more than 40 photographs including aerial photographs and elevated viewpoints.
One piece is a map from 1651, showing Galway as a heavily fortified city around the time of Cromwell's siege of Galway.
The exhibition is now open at the Kenny Gallery in Liosbán until the end of April.
