There can not, and will not be, any changes made to the Ballybane/Castlepark active travel schemes currently under construction.
That was the message delivered by directors at a meeting at City Hall this week.
It's after local councillor Shane Forde once again said the schemes are a disaster and need urgent revisions while work is still ongoing.
He took particular issue with exits he said were made far too narrow, causing serious traffic issues.
But he was told that the schemes can only be built according to the planning permission that was granted.
David Nevin spoke to Fine Gael Councillor Forde afterwards about his concerns.
