Claim lack of vetting leading to city social housing tenants "terrifying" neighbours

Tenants of social housing are 'terrifying' their neighbours due to inadequate Vetting from the City Council.

Thats according to Fianna Fail Councillor for Galway City East, Alan Cheevers, who is calling for stricter vetting of tenants.

At a meeting of local councillors, he said that hes recently met with tenants whose life has 'become hell' due to disruptive neighbours.

Cllr Cheevers says that the council are also being too lenient with the eviction of tenants.
