A public meeting will take place in Clarinbridge next week over the seemingly impending closure of the local Montessori.
The service has been using prefabs at Scoil Mhuire for the past 15 years, but due to expansion plans the school can no longer offer the accommodation.
The Montessori has 15 staff members and caters to more than 150 schoolchildren and pre-schoolers.
The public meeting will take place on Monday week at 8:45pm in the Parish Hall.
Speaking to Galway Talks, General Manager Maggie Haverty was asked if alternatives are being explored.
Niall Geraghty, the chair of the Board of Management, explained to John Morley that the school needs the space to expand to meet demand.
